Fundamental rules
- "Center for Information Technologies" was created by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan of 23.05.2001 № 230.
- The Center carries out its activities in accordance with the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, orders and orders of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, decisions of the Board and these Regulations.
- The Center is coordinated by the Rector of the Institute.
- The financial activities of the Center are financed from the budget and off-budget funds of the Institute.
- The head of the center is appointed by the order of the rector of the institute.
- The Center is a structural subdivision of the Institute (address: Samarkand, Mirzo Ulugbek str., 77 Samarkand Institute of Veterinary Medicine).
Goals and objectives of the Center.
- application and continuous introduction of new information technologies in the activity and educational process of the Institute;
- providing practical assistance in creating electronic scientific, methodological manuals and textbooks on new information technologies and distance education and their dissemination through the Internet - international information systems;
- organization of courses for teachers, researchers and gifted students on computer literacy and information technologies;
- ensuring effective use of computer and information technologies for teachers, researchers and students, Internet - international information systems;
- Provision and organization of practical and laboratory classes on the creation of innovative and virtual laboratory software through multimedia and computer systems;
- creation and implementation of various programs;
- organization of a computer network;

- conducting research in cooperation with national and foreign educational institutions and research centers on information technologies, establishing links with foreign state higher education institutions using the Internet;

Rights and duties of persons responsible for computer systems.
1. The operator of a computer class or other computer room, in charge of computer classes or computer rooms, is responsible for technical equipment and software in the room, as well as for discipline, furniture and cleanliness.
2. Everything that happens on the computer is performed with the consent and consent of the computer class operator or the person responsible for this computer.
3. Persons responsible for computer complexes have the right to apply administrative sanctions in accordance with the "Internal Rules" and the decrees of the rector concerning persons who violated the rules in a computer classroom or another computer room.
4. Individuals responsible for a complex of computers must have the skills to use, restore and install software.
5. Information stored on the computer and the software must be protected from "computer viruses" and be able to restore software that is infected with the "virus."
Rules for the use of computer systems:
1. Students are admitted to computer classes only under the supervision of the teacher.
2. Students are encouraged to use the software specified in the curriculum.
3. It is strictly forbidden to use foreign technical equipment (SD-diskettes, flash drives, etc.) without the operator's permission.
4. In cases where damage is caused to furniture, equipment or software in computer classes due to a violation of the internal schedule, the costs associated with the restoration, modification or reinstallation of equipment are fully borne by the infringer.

The main tasks of the Center are:

- maintenance of functioning of the local computer network of the Institute;

- renewal of the institute's passport in the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education;

- organization of effective use of computer technologies in the educational process;

The Institute has more than 700 computers, most of which are directly used in the learning process. There are also 12 computer classes. The local computer network of the Institute is connected to 520 computer nodes that are directly connected to the Internet and are constantly used by students, researchers and professors.
